Overview

CSRSNT-DAAI is an edition of 128 unique 1/1 works. Each of these unique works is a set of four related images that can be viewed with a custom image viewer. See the CSRSNT-DAAI works as they are released on Versum. The plan outlined here might change at any time, please check back for updates.

How to Collect

CSRSNT-DAAI is offered to collectors as NFTs on the Tezos platform Versum. All of the work will be minted and accessible from the CSRSNT account page on Versum.

We’ll accept offers for CSRSNT-DAAI with the following rules:

Each CSRSNT-DAAI is built from the image with the same number in the CSRSNT-CAAI series. For instance, CSRSNT-DAAI-001 is tied to CSRSNT-CAAI-001. If a wallet that holds the corresponding CSRSNT-CAAI puts an offer for 512 tez on the CSRSNT-DAAI of the same number, that offer will be accepted. To be more specific, if wallet [tz1UcX...1DQmT] holds CSRSNT-CAAI-001 and that wallet creates an offer of 512 tez for CSRSNT-DAAI-001, that offer will be accepted.
If the wallet that holds the corresponding CSRSNT-CAAI does not place an offer for 512 tez, all offers for 512 tez have an equal chance to be accepted. We’ll roll our collection of weird and funky dice to determine which offer to accept. If there are no offers for 512 tez, the work will go unsold. [Update 03 AUG 2022, only one DAAI per wallet for non-CAAI holders for each series.]s
Offers will not be accepted for the following: 016, 028, 035, 038, 062, 073. These will remain in the Caesuras collection.

Each CSRSNT-DAAI is a series of four curated images. The images are a set that must remain together. Each CSRSNT-DAAI is built from the CSRSNT-CAAI image of the same number.

The images are PNG files that can be displayed outside of this lightweight image-viewer code. This code allows the viewer to explore the images at different resolutions.

CSRSNT-DAAI Artist and Collector Rights

ARTIST RIGHTS

The artist owns the copyright and image rights. This means collectors can’t copy, reproduce, or make derivatives of the work—but the artist still can.

The artist earns 10% of all secondary sales. If a collector buys the work and then sells it, the artist is entitled to 10% of the purchase price.

The artist must always be credited. Anytime the work is displayed or shared, the artist must be properly attributed.

Collectors can’t modify, distort, or otherwise misrepresent the work when they display it.

The artist grants collectors certain rights to use, display, and resell the work. See the Collector Rights below in the text file.

The artist retains these rights forever.

COLLECTOR RIGHTS

The collector can download the work. The collector has access to a permanent link where they can download the work’s original, full-resolution files and technical details.

Display the work. The collector has the right to display the work both privately and publicly. For example, collectors can display the work on their own websites, social media accounts, in their homes, etc. This is digital work that can be exhibited in digital spaces.

The collector can be assured of the work’s authenticity. The provenance of every edition is recorded into a public blockchain.

Loan or lease the work. The collector may grant others the temporary right to display the work.

Resell or transfer the work. The collector is entitled to transfer your rights to the work to another collector or entity. If the collector resells or otherwise receives compensation for the transfer of the work, the artist must be paid 10%.

Remain anonymous. While all sales are recorded publicly, the collector can use an alias to keep their collection private.

Respect the artist’s rights. See the Artist Rights above in this text file.

The collector retains these rights forever. The collector’s rights are guaranteed in perpetuity until they resell or transfer ownership of the work.

High-Resolution Image Download

We’re still figuring out the best advice for this and tips are most welcome... To download the CSRSNT-DAAI images at full resolution, go to the artwork page on Versum and scroll to the bottom. Select the link for “Artifact” to load the work directly in the browser via IPFS. The URL will look something like this:

Write the name of the image you want to see at the end of the URL. For example, if you are viewing DAAI-031, you might add “CSRSNT-DAAI-031-of-128--1.png” to the end like this:

Replace the three-digit number after “DAAI” with the work you are viewing, it will be a number between 001 and 128. To see each of the four images within the work, replace the number before “.png” with 1, 2, 3, or 4.

Fine Print

The following won’t be offered to collectors: 016, 028, 035, 038, 062, 073. These will remain in the Caesuras collection.
